GROWING ON OUR DOORSTEP

Sustainable community food growing in St Thomas, Exeter, and beyond.

Building a Stronger Food Community

At Zero Mile Gardens, we’re committed to nurturing sustainable food-growing initiatives that empower our community. Explore how we’re growing fresh produce, sharing knowledge and harvests, and supporting local groups and businesses in building a fairer food system.

Our mission is to foster access to food growing spaces, provide the skills and resources needed to cultivate chemical-free fruit and vegs, and contribute to create a vibrant community and a good food movement in our neighbourhoods.

Our Story

Founded in 2023, Zero Mile Gardens emerged from a deep passion for local food and community. Our mission is to create beautiful, productive gardens that enrich both the environment and community life. These gardens are not just about growing food; they are vibrant spaces where relationships flourish and a shared commitment to environmental justice thrives.
